One of our families all time favorite thing to eat is ” the famous” hashbrown casserole. I can’t take credit for this one, it comes from the Bell’s Best Cookbook. I’ve never met a soul who doesn’t lick their plate after trying it!

Ingredients

  • 2 lb frozen hash browns
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 10 oz. cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Topping

  • 4 Cups of crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter

 

Directions: Thaw potatoes and combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Put in large casserole dish. Add topping and bake uncovered for 1 to 1-1/2 hr.(until bubbly) at 350 degrees.
